Recently, he was in Las Vegas to meet with life consultant Kyle Ray, who has gone through the 21st Century Leadership Program. With a special interest in life direction and perspective, Ray has continually provided Dr. Tam with stimulus to keep challenging himself.

He also sat down with Dr. Alice Chen, a pediatric dentist at Red Rock Kid's Dentistry, pediatric dentist in Summerlin, Las Vegas. They discussed the ongoing interactions between pediatric dentistry and orthodontics, as well as the use of Invisalign for teenagers as well as adults. Dr. Tam emphasized the use of Invisalign as a technique rather than as a product.

Dr. Tam was able to arrange a second meeting with Mr. Richard Brodie, the author of Microsoft Word. He is also the author of the bestselling publications, Getting Past OK: The Self-Help Book for People Who Don't Need Help. They sat down to again discuss various issues along with Mr. Brodie's friend Nick, an electrical engineer working for the US Government. Dr. Tam feels it a great privilege to be able to spend time with Mr. Brodie to gain his insights and perspectives.
