It does not happen often, but Align's next new feature is one that will be released in Canada before it is released anywhere else. Your Toronto Invisalign orthodontist will provide more details as they become available.
As many orthodontic cases require "class 2 correction", Invisalign has developed a new feature that will allow doctors to try this feature in lieu of the use of elastic for class 2 correction. The early indication are that it will act to reposition the mandible anteriorly, likely similar to a MARA appliance. For doctors who have had trouble correcting larger class 2 malocclusions with Invisalign, this may be a useful tool.
